Benevolence Request

About Our Benevolence Ministry

At Elk Park Christian Church, we believe that following Jesus means caring for one another in practical, tangible ways. Our Benevolence Ministry exists to come alongside individuals and families in moments of genuine crisis — offering short-term assistance that reflects the love of Christ and the generosity of our church family.

We don't believe anyone should face a hard season alone. If you're struggling to keep the lights on, facing an unexpected bill, or simply don't know where to turn, we want to hear from you.

How It Works

Requests are reviewed by our Benevolence Committee — a small group of trusted church members who handle every situation with care, confidentiality, and prayer. If assistance is approved, payment is made directly to the vendor on your behalf, whether that's a utility company, landlord, or another provider.

Submitting a request is simple. Just fill out the form below and a committee member will follow up with you directly.

A Few Things to Know

  • All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to available funds.

  • Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance.

  • All information shared is kept strictly confidential within the committee.

  • This ministry is designed for short-term relief. We're also happy to connect you with other local resources when appropriate.

  • If you'd like someone to pray with you or check in on you pastorally, just let us know on the form.

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2
